Stainless Steel Standoffs

Stainless steel standoffs are used to mount sign panels to virtually any wall surface. Also known as signage holders, stainless steel standoffs allow a more modern presentation of any signage, both indoors and out, while their simple design allows quick and easy installation.

They are made from high quality solid stainless steel, and come in a choice of finishes including highly polished or satin brushed. Both finishes offer a modern look with clean lines to offices, lobbies or waiting areas. In fact, most people have seen stainless steel standoffs used in displays in just about every office building.

Stainless steel standoffs consist of four basic parts, all made with the same high quality stainless steel. These include:

  • The barrel – this is held into the wall or panel by an anchor and screws are used to keep it in place.
  • Two washers – these go either side of the material of the signage, one against the barrel, the other against the cap.
  • The Cap – this is threaded so that it screws the material into position by passing through the signage, offering a clean finish to the end result. Once in place, they are hand-tightened to finish.

Stainless steel standoffs are made in various sizes, including 7 different diameters and 5 different barrel lengths, allowing for a variety of different projects. The diameter and height of the standoff allows for a variety of thicknesses to be used with the signage. The diameter ranges from 1/2" to 1 1/2", whilst the barrel length ranges from 1/2" to 1 3/4".

For thicker materials, we have an extended head for use with the stainless steel standoffs, which allows for up to 1" thick material. Like the stainless steel standoffs, the extended head is also made from high quality stainless steel, and has a threaded post.
